Probiotics are fabulous!! I read about them somewhere and how they help with cystitis. I have to say, I LOVE them! 1 day and I feel so much better. I give them to the girls too in powder form. They are a bit expensive but worth every penny!!
Well, O hated preschool. They said she cried a lot. She has always been kind of non-separating and that’s okay. She is very bright and my mom says she already has all of the skills she needs for first grade so I am not terribly concerned about her missing 1 year of preschool. She can always go next year. I just wanted her to go for the socialization aspect. We haven’t really met many mamas here so she doesn’t get a chance to play with other kids much. Oh well…..I read an article yesterday about “mean girls” and how it starts in preschool. So, I guess I am happy about her missing out on “that” experience!! I read the most heartwarming story in Mothering yesterday about a mom who teaches her daughter to be non-competitive and loving with other girls and about being a feminist. It was inspiring. Of course, that’s what I would like to impart also.
It seems lately, I haven’t been imparting lots of good things because Olivia’s new catch phrase is “mommy, don’t yell at daddy today anymore”. Lovely, isn’t it? Wow, to see myself through her eyes…..I just feel terrible for her because she is so impressionable and we are going through so much stress right now! Apparently, Jon gets the brunt of the anxiety……
This is my last week at the airport though so hopefully that lightens the load up a bit. Of course, there is the angst of actually quitting and feeling bad because my dad is sad and now Jen and I aren’t on the best of terms…..Ahhhhh….
